Canoeing

All trips depart daily, rain or shine. Our trip is 7 miles along the scenic Shenandoah River, consisting of mostly flat water and 6-8 Class 1 rapids. It is a great trip for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. All trips include transportation from Massanutten Resort to and from the river, a safety and river orientation, as well as canoes, paddles, and life jackets.

7-mile trip

This trip departs daily at 11am. The cost for this tour is $29.00 per person. Beginning at Elkton, you will paddle downstream, encountering 6-8 Class I rapids. You can spend approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours on the water. The trip ends in the town of Shenandoah, and then you are transported back to the resort.
