Kayaking

We have 2 types of kayaks available for you to enjoy on the river.  We offer an 11' single Loon 111 river kayak, and we also have sit-on-tops available for your enjoyment.  All trips depart daily, rain or shine.  Our trip is 7 miles along the scenic Shenandoah River.  It is  great for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.  All trips include free transportation from Massanutten Resort to and from the river, safety and river orientation, as well as kayaks, paddles, and life jackets.

This trip departs daily from the Massanutten Resort.  The first trip checks in at 8:30 am and the second trip checks in at 1:00 pm.  The cost for this trip is $39.00 per person.  Beginning in Elkton, you will paddle downstream, encountering 6-8 Class I rapids.  You will spend approximately 2 1/2 hours on the water.  The trip ends in  the town of Shenandoah, and then you are transported back to the resort.
